Ladies, the purpose of this blog is to educate and promote healthy love and relationships by providing information and insight from a black man’s perspective. It’s to help you enhance your current relationships, and recognize some things about yourself so that you can overcome or avoid some of the challenges you may experience in dating to find the RIGHT man, to have a healthy lasting relationship with.

Ok, so I would not be “keeping it real” if I did not give you the “Real” EVERYTIME. With that being said…If you meet a man and the two of you are in the dating stages and trying to develop something 'special' but he has that one lady friend that seems to have just a little bit more 'privilege' than you do. You know what I mean, she has a call anytime curfew, she ALWAYS needs him for SOMETHING, every time his phone rings, it’s her, or she's always texting him. In fact you may meet her but, she gives you ridiculous attitude. She will invite him to various occasions, and events but not you. You get the picture? Sounds familiar?

If a man says she’s “just a friend” most likely he is lying. Follow your instincts. If he’s coming to the table with that kind of baggage already, just move on and don’t give him a chance to set his suitcases down. You will avoid a whole lot of unnecessary tripp’in!
