Ladies, we’ve all gone through it; wearing our knees out praying for Mr. Right. Okay, don’t play; I know I’m not the only one. Well let me tell you, after I embarked on my journey to find Mr. Right while only in my early teens, I truly believe I’ve got him. Notice I didn’t say, “I FOUND him.” I didn’t know it then, but I most certainly know it now, Mr. Right/Ms. Right, finds you. When you’re out there looking under every rock for he or she, you’ll find everything except.
I’m going be honest, when Mr. Right found me, I was actually going on a hiatus from the male species. That’s what I was referring to them as back then. It was a new year and I had decided that since my track record with men had failed time and time again and by no fault of my own, thank you very much, I decided that solo was the way to go. At least I was going to give it a real good try, THIS time.
It wasn’t until after I had made a conscious decision to put love on the back burner and concentrate on myself, my children and my money, that Mr. Right walked right up to me and asked to be my friend. I know this is going to sound like some fairy tale stuff, but honestly, we talked on the phone one night and have been inseparable ever since. It’s as if we truly are two halves to a whole. Even though he is five years younger than I, our lives have been parallel journeys, separately.
In closing, I have but one message to you today. When waiting for your own Mr. Right to find you, make sure you’re the ultimate Ms. Right for him.
